Good to know
- Children are coached in two groups so every session is pitched at the right level: KS1 (our younger group, Reception to Year 2) and KS2 (our older group, Year 3 and up).
- Each group plays three different sports every day, and at least one is always a camp favourite: Dodgeball, Football or Basketball (marked with a star below).
- All sports equipment is provided, including for Nerf Battles (foam-dart games with all safety kit supplied). On Bike and Scooter Day (Wednesdays), children are welcome to bring their own bike or scooter. Helmets are a must: no helmet, no riding.
- Surprise special games pop up through the summer too: Compass favourites like POW, Champ, Hunter and Crazy Golf, taught by the coaches on the day.
What to bring each day
- Packed lunch, snacks and a filled water bottle
- Trainers and comfy sports clothes
- Sun cream and a cap for sunny days, plus a light waterproof
- Wednesdays, if they like: their own bike or scooter, always with a helmet
Theme days, every week
- Monday, Prize Hunt: clues hidden around camp all day, with prizes at the afternoon presentation
- Tuesday, Nerf Battles: foam-dart target games and team battles, with all equipment and safety kit provided
- Wednesday, Bike and Scooter Day: bring your own wheels and helmet for supervised riding at break times
- Thursday, Gladiators: duels, obstacles and total-wipeout style challenges
- Friday, RC Cars: remote-control car racing and time trials
Themes run alongside the sports timetable at arrival games, breaks and challenges, so they never replace a single minute of sport.

Every day follows the same routine shown above. The theme and the three sports change daily, so no two days at camp are the same. Days marked with a gold star include a camp favourite: Dodgeball, Football or Basketball.
Camps are run by DBS-checked, qualified Compass Sports coaches, and our holiday camps have been running for over eight years.
