Question 1 of 8
Child development, not just sport

What your free report covers

Every report looks at the four areas of development that sport helps most between the ages of 3 and 11.

  • Physical

Balance, agility and coordination: the ABCs of movement. These fundamental movement skills are the foundation for every sport and for an active life.

  • Social & communication

Listening, taking turns, calling a friend's name and sharing ideas. Team games are packed with back-and-forth moments that build language and friendships.

  • Confidence & resilience

Trying something new, coping when it's hard and feeling proud when it clicks. Praising effort, not results, builds self-belief that lasts.

  • Focus & thinking

Remembering rules, stopping and starting on a signal and making quick decisions. These are the same skills children use in the classroom.
